About & Legal Disclaimers

PlugBeacon is an independent web application dedicated to helping electric vehicle drivers locate public charging infrastructure across North America.

⚡ About the Project

Our Mission

As electric vehicle adoption expands across the country, finding reliable public charging shouldn't require downloading multiple proprietary apps or struggling with clunky interfaces.

PlugBeacon was built as a fast, accessible, and lightweight locator that works on any browser without mandatory user registration or paywalls. By combining live geolocation, map pin drag-and-drop precision, and speed-tier filtering (Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast charging), drivers can quickly locate compatible plugs and get direct turn-by-turn navigation in seconds.

⚠️ Data Accuracy Notice

1. "As-Is" Data & No Warranty Disclaimer

All charging station coordinates, addresses, connector counts, power outputs (kW), operator names, and operational details provided through PlugBeacon are compiled from third-party APIs and public datasets.

Important Notice for Drivers: Public charging station availability, maintenance status, hardware operational uptime, access restrictions (e.g., parking gates, private garages, customer-only policies), and pricing rates fluctuate frequently.

PlugBeacon provides all data on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranty of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. Specifically, we disclaim:

Drivers are strongly advised to check physical signage, verify network status via the respective network's official portal where applicable, and maintain sufficient battery buffer during travel.

🛡️ Trademarks & Affiliation

2. Non-Affiliation & Trademark Notice

PlugBeacon is an entirely independent tool created for public utility and convenience.

PlugBeacon is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, authorized by, or in any way officially associated with any automaker, commercial charging network, or station operator, including but not limited to:
